Set up your profile & preferences.

Settings is the first thing you should complete when creating your account. Here you define who you are as a professional, how your invoices should look and how your tax environment works.

Language & currency

Temprofit is available in Spanish and English. Language is auto-detected from your browser but can be changed manually. Base currency is the currency you view your finances in (P&L, KPIs) — usually your country of residence’s currency.

Country & taxes

Select your country from the 15 available. Each country has pre-configured taxes (IVA, IRPF, VAT, ISR, etc.) that apply automatically in invoices. The corresponding tax ID type is also shown (NIF, CUIT, UTR, RFC, etc.).

⚠️ Each country has specific tax requirements. Temprofit shows compliance notices where applicable (like SII for Spain or electronic invoicing for Argentina). Always consult your tax advisor.

Billing details

Your name or business name, tax ID, address, email and phone. This data appears on all your invoices as issuer. Also fill in your IBAN or bank account so it appears on the invoice PDF.

Logo & branding

Upload your logo (it will appear in invoice headers) and choose your brand colour. The colour is used in PDF headers, interface accents and charts.

Task tags

Create tags to classify your time: Design, Development, Meeting, Review, Admin, etc. Used when logging entries and imported grouped into invoices. Add and remove as needed.

Expense categories

Customise P&L categories: Software, Office, Marketing, Travel, etc. Used when registering expenses and importing bank statements. Add your own categories based on your business.

Premium subscription

From Settings you manage your Premium subscription (€8.99/month or €79/year). The free plan includes timer, 1 client, 1 invoice per month and calendar. Premium adds: unlimited everything, KPIs, P&L, goals, currencies, bank import and Excel export. Includes a 30-day trial with access to Premium screens.

💡 Recommended order: Language → Country → Base currency → Billing details → Logo → IBAN → Tags. With this done, you can create clients and start invoicing.

Goals & targets

Temprofit includes a Goals section where you can set billing and hours targets — monthly and annually. Choose whether to measure gross (invoiced) or net (after expenses). Distribute the annual target evenly or customise month by month for seasonality. The dashboard shows progress bars and the Goals page has rings, monthly charts, streak tracking and YTD summary.

Keyboard shortcuts

Navigate faster with shortcuts: H = Home, N = Clients, T = Start timer, I = Invoices, P = Projects, R = Reports, C = Calendar, E = Entries, G = Goals, S = Settings, ? = Guide. Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K) opens a global search to find clients, invoices, projects and sections instantly.

Install as app

Temprofit is a PWA (Progressive Web App). You can install it as a native app on your phone or computer. In Chrome, the install icon appears in the address bar. On Safari iOS, use Share → Add to Home Screen. The app opens without the browser bar and works offline for the basic shell.
