Packs & recurring services.

Not everything is billed by the hour. Many freelancers have fixed-price services: monthly web maintenance, social media post packages, retainer-based technical support. Temprofit packs are designed exactly for this.

What is a pack?

A pack is a product or service with a name, fixed price and assigned client. It can be one-off (a design project for €500) or recurring (monthly hosting for €29). Each pack can be imported directly into invoices with one click.

Create a pack

Go to the Packs section

In the sidebar, below Projects.

Create a new pack

Give it a name (e.g. 'Web maintenance'), fixed price (e.g. €150), and assign it to a client.

Import it into the invoice

When creating an invoice, press 'Import packs'. Select the month's packs and they're added as lines with their price.

Hours + packs in one invoice

You can combine both in the same invoice. First import the month’s hours, then import packs, and the invoice shows everything together with totals. Hours appear with an ‘HOURS’ tag and packs with a ‘PACK’ tag for visual differentiation.

💡 Tip: If you have a service you charge every month to the same client (like hosting or maintenance), create the pack once and reuse it each month when invoicing. No need to recreate it.

In entries

When a pack is imported into an invoice, an entry is also automatically logged in the entries list with a purple ‘PACK’ tag. This way it shows in reports and the calendar, keeping a complete history of all your work.
