Client management & rates.

Clients are at the centre of Temprofit. Everything revolves around them: the hours you track, the invoices you generate, the projects you organise. Setting up your clients properly from the start saves you time later.

Create a client

Basic details

Name or business name, email and phone. The email is used for sending invoices by mail.

Hourly rate

The amount you charge per hour for this client. Used to automatically calculate the value of each time entry and for invoices.

Currency

Choose which currency you invoice this client in. If different from your base currency, Temprofit converts automatically in reports.

Identifying colour

Each client has a colour that appears in entries, the calendar and reports. Helps you visually identify who's who.

Billing details

To generate invoices you need the client’s tax details: legal name, Tax ID, fiscal address and country. These will auto-fill every time you create an invoice for this client.

Client dashboard

When you select a client you see a complete summary: total hours tracked, estimated billing, days worked and average per hour. Below, the latest time entries with their amounts.

Clients with multiple currencies

If you work with international clients, each one can have their own currency. A UK client bills in GBP, a US one in USD. The P&L and KPIs convert everything to your base currency automatically using updated exchange rates.

💡 Tip: Set up the rate and currency for each client from the start. That way every time entry you log already has the correct amount and invoices are generated without touching anything.

From proposals

If a prospect approves a proposal and didn’t exist as a client, Temprofit creates them automatically with the proposal data. No need to duplicate the work.
